Hey all,

I'm looking for a nice panel mount USB connector for a DAC. Neutrik have a nice one in stock at Mouser, but I would probably prefer solder tabs for direct connection to a PCB, rather than needing an internal USB cable.

Any hints? Cheers!

I bought one of these for a project - USB Type B Jack, 10" Leads - ECJ504B-UB

Panel mount with 10" leads.

Yep - I was going to link to the same thing. I have a few of them, too, and was going to use one to put an Alien DAC into a MAX, before the BantamDAC came around.

The frontx and l-com ones can both be directly terminated to a PCB. The Neutrik however is essentially just a coupler, and the additional internal plug will be very bulky. I don't have that much room where I want to put it......
