The fact that the output is 8mW/channel seems interesting... do you folks think that the sound would be better that way? Or is it just more power but not necessarily better quality?

It seems like a good value. Any ideas on this player?

I recently purchased this player from audiocubes.

The out put of 8mw is deceiving, the sound is warm and clear but not very loud. However it will play at max volume with 0 distortion.
I belive that the power is there to provide more headroom(pardon the pun).
I also own the panasonic sl sx460? with 9mw ,It will play much louder ,but with more distortion.
The best is the Iriver models with 12mw and no distortion.

so is this player a good buy for the money? neutral high quality sound? it doesn't look like it includes anti skip technology. is there anything else out there currently availabe at $100 that is better? it's got my interest too.
