I do listen to some rock and alternative at times so it would be nice to have some good sound all round but what are your opinions on what is better for Electro and Hip-Hop ?

I don't think you should pick earphones based upon music genre. Instead, decide based upon sound signature and personal preference.

That being said, the hje900 are likely better for hip-hop. And the ck10 are going to be better for electronica and other techno musical styles.

If you are tossing up between the CK10 and the Panasonic because the Panasonic might have better bass for electronic and hip hop, why not consider the CK90Pro? You'll get a similar sound to the CK10 though with more subdued treble and punchier, stronger bass. At a slightly cheaper price too. :)

These will be my main earphones so i want some good build quality seen as my Klipsch Image S4's didn't hold up with walking to school i need something stronger. By the way I did like the sound of my S4's

If you liked the S4s, then go for the hje900. The ck10 will be way too bass light.
