Panasonic following bose

they seem very similar to me, except for the bass ports that are very visible on the sides. what do you think? would the panasonics be better?

Very similar looking.. Personally, I wouldnt choose either, I'd get a good quality IEM. Anything that looks like a Bose can cant be good

I just got the Panasonics and was really impressed, they dont need an amp to drive them, I used my Zen Micro, and my portable DVD player and was very happy of the sound quality. They seem to be more on the bassy side but not to where your ears hurt. I went to the Sony store near my house and brought my Zen to try out these Sony MDR-NC50 and the base sounded very flabby, needs an amp to run these efficiently... But I was not impressed! Also I noticed that when I turned on the Noise cancelling it hurt my ears because of the low pressure, but these dont hurt at all when NC is turned on. all in all Im happy I got these, which will mostly be used for travelling!

they do look very similar and have same features....
