Hi all,

I see this product on sale at onecall.com. Is it a good source, a good place to start from? I am lookind far a good transport in this price range. I refuse to spend more than $300 including shipping within the US and this seems like the best bet to me.

It has optical and coaxial outs, cd text, built in dolby decoders, plays almost all disc but SACD ( I dont think I will ever get into that fomat until it is the absolute standard...... years away i think).

I think this is a good buy for my needs. I know I have asked similar questions before, but asking me to spend more than what I have stated above is fruitless. The only other players i see that I may consider is the Marantz CD5000 and the Denon DCM 370 or 380. They lack dvd playback which is a convenience i would like to have. Everything else I have brought forward here has been shot down faster than a Japanese zero fighter in world war II!!

. And no i dont want the Philips.

Anyway..... Tell me what you think of the above listed options.
