Flamboyant. It has similar meaning and is something that people will hopefully understand and perhaps even use correctly.

According to dictionary.com, brio, charisma, dash, flair, flamboyance, flourish, style, swagger, verve, vigor, and élan are all good substitutes for the word panache.

But none of those will ever hold the special place in my heart that panache does.

Well, since no words come to mind right now I will just be forced to make up a word right now. And, that word is Scrumtralascent.

Sounds like Scrump-tiddely-umptious

could be "cious", I'm not sure...also could be "tiddly" or "Tiddley", but "tiddely" is what it sounds like to me.

No thats my word! that and pumpadooce (its the word for VW diesel fuel injections or something along those lines) but its mine
