Hi all!

I’m looking for some recommendations for pads for the HiFiman HE400S. They are not my most use set, but I do have fond memories with them because they were my first headphones.

After more than 6 years the pads are pretty worn (almost useless) and need a replacement. Any recommendations?

I can whole-heartedly recommend focus pads for the HE-400s, super comfortable and any changes they've made to the sound have been an improvement.

Ive done pad rolling on them and the best are hybrid pads similar to factory with perforated sides and velour surfaces. Check the measurements of the hole, if it's smaller than original it will sound horrible. Brainwaves were fiberglass type of itchy, microsuede made the bass boomy and treble rolloff severe. Dekoni hybrid perforated was the best of all. See what's available as close to factory in materials and center hole size.
