I will be ordering the Modified DAC-AM from PV on the first Tuesday of June (they typically have a sale on the First Tuesday of every month per their website). I have read little to nothing about the DAC-AM on the boards here, but what I have read has been positive. Plus, with their 30 day guarantee, I'm only out the cost of shipping both ways to try one.

I have the Monarchy M24, which is based on the Lite DAC 50/60 - modified by Monarchy Audio Labs - and it is fantastic - reviewers claim it's on a par with $17,000+ DAC's.

So... I would guess the Lite DAC 62M, or 68, may be about as good. If I didn't already have the M24, I'd be tempted to try the 62M, or 68. If they're anywhere near the M24... you'll be very pleased. And... if not... you can always return it to Pacific Valve within 30 days.
