I've read up on the PA2v2 amp and it seems like a great deal. I'm wondering how it will perform with my 595s, if anyone here has used these two together.

I don't know about that amp but I've read quite a few times that the LDM+ has really good synergy with the 595's. I have 595's too but I don't have an amp yet, will probably get the LDM+ at some point.

I've been using a PA2V2 & HD595 with a Samsung YP-Z5. I'm hard pushed to notice any difference in SQ when the amp is used compared with driving the headphones directly from the DAP. If anything I prefer the sound without the amp and have stopped using it. Now awaiting delivery of a Xenos 0HA REP to see if that makes a (desireable) difference.
