So I just made the plunge and bought a MS1 and a RS1. My wallet really hates me so much now. I wont get the RS1 for a while though, as I only paid half on them for the moment.

Mainly wanted to know if the RA1 amp clone will power them properly since it is based off of the Grado amp.

Ouch. How much did all that set you back?

IMO I would have bought an RS-1 + a high quality amp.. then again I'm poor
so don't mind me haha.

I put $250 on the RS-1's (Only getting em for around $500) and spent $90 on the MS-1's.

My dad already has the Grado RA-1 High Impedance amp, so it should drive these good. Currently I'm saving up for a RSA Predator (and get the Raptor after tax returns).

MS-1's are awesome headphones for the price. Havent heard RS-1's, gonna be on my list of things to do sometime around.
