Hi there,
This is my first post in this forum so first of all apologize in advance if I break any laws.
I'm looking for OVER THE EAR headphones  (please do not tell Beats By Dre.) average headphones that cost way 2 much because of good branding.
I'm looking for a clean sound and i also like Good Bass quality and i dont care if I look cool or not with headphones.
My requirements are.
1.Clean tone  and comfortable pads that could be heard for a long time.
2. Priority to the cable that comes with iPhone remote option gives one click to stop, two to transfer a song forward, three back singing etc.
3. Price ranges from $ 100 - $ 250 (
4. Priority for headphones that give good bass, but also sound good while playing songs such as rock and pop metal dubstep.

I would recommend shure srh-840 and I'm sure others would recommend audio technica ath-m50.

nah i say no to the M50, too sibliant. i choose the SRH940 however

treble is more detailed,midrange of the srh940 is lovely, clear and crisp, though the bass is less than the M50
