Hi, I am looking for a pair of good over/on ear headphone for commute. I would say noise isolation and comfort is important besides sound quality. I was interested in Sony mdr 1a but after seeing reviews I think its isolation is pretty poor for commute

Any suggestions? Thanks

Around 300 USD, mainly for pop music so as long as it's not super bass heavy it should be ok. Cowon p1 will be the player

I don't have many cans that aren't bass heavy under $300 but the B&O H2 is one of them. Isolation is very good. The only problem is if you have a large head; my head is pretty big and they're stretched to the max to fit. 
 
They have a great soundstage and are balanced well. .
