A few years ago I found a neat pair of headphones that were only about 160 grams, went over the ears, but had very high impedance. I cannot remember the brand or model, but I was curious if there's any headphones out there that meet similar criteria? In the meantime I'll keep searching as well

Edit: the super lightweight ones were definitely Audio Technica, but the closest they make to it now are the ATH-AD900X, ATH-AD700X and ATH-AD500X, the 500 being the lightest at 235g.

The lightest that sound great are a pair we have, the Koss KSC75 for $20. We have one on the Apple 3.5mm to USB adapter which has tons of power for it and sound way better than they should at that price. The Koss Porta Pro with Yaxxi pads are the other winners if you want true headphones that sound excellent at the lightest weight possible.

It was not, whatever headphone it was, it has been discontinued. That is a nice option though, I'll check it out!
