So apparently from what I've read and from what is advertised, the Klipsch Oval ear tips give unparalleled comfort thanks to their oval shape. Is it possible to buy some of these tips and put them onto other IEMs, specifically the M9?

It'd be a very tight fit -- the opening is smaller than the average IEM nozzle, which consequently could also affect the sound. From what I remember the comfort didn't make that much of a difference, so I returned them. YMMV.

I don't think you can get the Klipsch Ovals onto the M9 nozzle. I also don't find them all that great comfort-wise - certainly no better than Hybrids.

Have you used those things? When I had my Custom 2s, I found the fit miserable, impossible to seal.

Did better swapping them out for the Ety/Shure triflanges. I would guess they fit on any nozzle of similar size.
