Output jacks on DV336i powerfull enough to drive speakers?

Are the output jacks on the back of the DV336i amped? If so would they be powerful enough to drive a set of small bookshelf speakers?

No. They are pre-amp outs.

Definately NOT as there are NOT pre-amp outputs

Anyone tried the preamp-outs of the 336i? Im going to try hooking it up with the Trends TA-10.1 while in power amp mode. Id like to see if im going to improve o the built-in volume control of the T-amp.

not much good of preamp for 336i. the better option is to use the headphone jack instead and it works nice.
