Hey guys,

I know there have been questions around which cables to use with FiiO e17 and the Galaxy S4.  I got this cable on ebay and I can confirm it works.  It took me a lot of searching to figure this out so hopefully this saves some time for people out there.  $4 + $1 shipping.

S4 (micro usb) >>> e17 (mini usb)

Took ~2 weeks to get it, which was the only downside, but reasonably priced.

FYI - this FiiO L15 is less "stiff" and right now it's $5.87 with free shipping

10 RMB plus 8 RMB domestic shipping within China (roughly 3 bucks) but it's much more expensive to order that anywhere else

Heck, it's like HK$99 here in Hong Kong, LOL

I wish I had known about this! If I lose my cable I'm Def getting this one. Thanks for the heads up.

I really love the 90 degree, right angle form factor of those. I just put in an order for an iBasso D-Zero for my Note 2, and I'm looking for a cable just like this one in a Micro to Mini OTG setup. I have several of the stock iBasso cable, plus a longer one sold by Toxic Cables, and I *definitely* plan on buying one of the FiiO L15's. (And, I know that Forza makes a really nice, aesthetically pleasing one too: http://forzaaudioworks.com/en/product.php?id_product=55).

I just can't find one that has a L-shaped termination to take pressure off the USB port on both devices and make it more pocket friendly. If anyone knows of one, even at a premium, I'd appreciate any tips on where to pick it up.

That *is* a totally awesome amp/DAC.

I shot a message off to Forza earlier this morning to see if they can do a custom 90 degree of their Android OTG cable. I'll let you know what response I get back.

That is a fantastic micro-to-mini. My Chinese is a bit rusty (and by rusty, I mean non-existent) so I can't tell if it lists that it's OTG capable or not! If so, that's aesthetically pleasing and looks very sturdy. It's also a great price at ~30 USD.

Matthew got back to me very, very quickly. (Customer service is in no way lacking over at Forza.) He said that ATM they don't have a right angle version of their OTG cable, and that modifying one of their existing ones would take a lot of work involving epoxy shaping. I'll send a PM with the price because I think it's a bit of a social faux pas (or, at minimum, just rude) to post custom cable pricing offers in a public forum. Even at the premium price, I'm milling it over a bit. It's a nice looking cable, and I know that Forza cables often outlive the devices using them.

I use the iBasso/Toxic cables mini to micro short OTG cable. I wish it had 90 degree ends, but I like it otherwise.

If that were no go at all, just do a search on eBay and Google for something like "Taobao agent" so that could help you to get something shipped to US

Or simply ask some forum members in China for a favor instead.

The Taobao Agent route looks to be the direction I'm going to go. These two sites you linked look like just the thing!
