Heya!

i know this might not have a ton to do with this forum but - do you have a favorite tin for a mint amp?

i know many will say the altoids tin, but lets be a bit creative here!

ive seen a ginger amp, the round altoids tins. i seem to remember a charlie brown tin as well.

whats your fave? pics always nice

Actually most will say they like the penguin tins.

I like the Disney tins and the Penguin tins.

I am partial to the Dilbert tins, but they are smaller than the normal tins and require some creativity with component placement.

i like the altoids citrus sours. made a MINT in one:

took a while to figure out how to fit everything in.

profingersk8ers dragon fire gum tins look mightily impressive too.

I used to have a very colourful Jelly Belly tin (same size as an Altoids tin -- usually available in six-packs) that I kept fishing lures in. Despite the brightness, I still managed to lose it. It's too bad because I think Jelly Belly discontinued them in favour of the bigger, taller 12-oz. bean-shaped tins. See lower right of the following image:

Dang, must be tough to drill holes on those round tins. I was going to put mine in a round tin, but dont got the skills
