i'm planning to order a gilmore lite from germany.
do i have to pay extra VAT or custom????

If you mean you are IN germany and you are ordering from OUTSIDE Germany (like USA) TO Germany, then VAT and customs may apply.

Usually the fees are applied as follows

(Price of goods + price of shipment) * custom tax * VAT = the fees you pay at the customs

Example:

Price of goods = 1000
Shipment price = 100
Custom tax (varies according to goods category= 0%
VAT (in Germany) = 16%

(1000 + 100) * 1 (no customs) * 0.16 (VAT) = 176 for VAT when clearing the goods at the customs in Germany
