when i woke up this morning...i look out the winow and it's orange in they sky..

i thought to myslf wut the....did i wake up at 6pm again..
look to the clock, it'z only 9am..

took a search online..but couldnt find any infomation, but my sis told me it has something to do with solar flare

anyone has any infomation?

irvine here....orange sky as well. look closely and you'll see ashes fall from the sky, scattered on cars.

It's certainly possible for there to be an orange sky in the morning, it's just a matter of where the clouds are.

Seeing that you are in CA it is probably the fires. We had orange skys here earlier this year because of fires. Here is an afternoon shot when it was bad.

unfortunately, chicago had to miss the aurora borealis because it was cloudy. dammit. i really want to see the northern lights someday.

Mr.PD, i think it was the fire...but whole day today had been foggy and extremly orange.. just think of orange light shin in the fog

I got a little ash at my place in Irvine, but I had to drive out to Riverside for a conference and my car got dumped on big time. Even indoors everything smelled like a campfire. And that was still many miles from the flames!
