So I want to be able to have a setup near the couch for our home theater for when I need it.

I want something that can BT to my HTPC, and connect to a standard headphone amp. HPTC is a very far distance, so anything cabled is out of the question.

Any ideas on a product that would work for me?

Maybe the FiiO BTA30, which I haven't used. I have a cheap Avantree Oasis from Amazon which works fairly well.

I was more concerned with range over sound quality, and it used to do maybe 100 feet through interior and exterior walls for me.
