I know this is going to sound silly, but at this point there are a ridiculous amount of really good daps out there, many with very similar hardware trying to differentiate themselves with software, etc .... what I'm looking for though is something a little different. I want a DAP with a dedicated docking station like the old iphone/ipod docs ... but here is the catch ... I don't want a dock that costs half or as much as the dap did to begin with. I want a dock that connects to power and analog audio out using the dacs in the device rather than going out optical ... something relatively inexpensive compared to say that hifiman 900 series dock that I can have one in my office at home and one at work without sweating it that unless I'm actually on the go the thing is always charged when I pick it up.

So who makes something like this for their DAP line?
