are there other cable manufacturers to look at besides monoprice for an alternative to the fiio L2 (4-inch 3.5mm-3.5mm cable)?  monoprice doesn't make them that short that i can see.  $10 for a short interconnect isn't prohibitive by any means, but i want to get 6 of them for hooking up switch boxes so cheaper would be preferable.

You could.. go to Radioshack.. haha.. I kid. Honestly, I'd go the DIY cable thread here on the forum. You'd probably be able to get a member to make you some for a nominal fee.

Exactly, get a meter of wire from a pro-audio company (since they tend to be well shielded and durable) and 12 mini-jacks. Cut the wire into 6 bits and terminate them. Voila.
