Hi there,
I have owned my HA-1 mated with the HD800 and DIY balance cables for over two years now. I listen off and on, but lately have been getting into DSD files. I am unsure if I am using the HA-1 correct to playback DSD files. What I do is this to get the HA-1 to show DSD playback and not, say PCM 3528/24, etc. To do this I have to go into Tools>Options>DSP & output format>Output Encoding and change it to 2xDSD: This cause everything to be outputted to DSD, which I don't want.
If I leave this to "none", then it just plays it at PCM, which is great for all flac and aif files, however for dsf files, i'd like for it to play in in DSD.
Any help to get this right would be appreciated!
