Hey guys.
I've been window shopping for a portable setup for a long time now.
I'm really not sure where I want to end up, but I know I want something clean, that can run decently sized headphones for the future. I have my eyes on the M1060's that are launching in a few days! (50 Ohms)
So... my plan was to use my Oneplus 3 as the source, USB C otg to the JDS Standalone ODAC, 3.5mm to FiiO A5, out to headphones.
Has anyone used the Standalone ODAC as a portable unit? Is line level input enough for the A5 to produce a listenable output? I'm new to quality audio.
I'm really not afraid to spend a few hundred bucks to learn something, but I don't want to spend it for nothing! =D
All opinions/comments/options welcome!
Thanks,
R
