Hello,
I've been a long-time lurker here and bought the Beyer DT150 and Goldring DR150 headphones based on information posted on this forum. Needless to say, I am pretty happy with both of these.
Now I am looking to buy a pair of speakers for my computer. These will be for music listening only. I don't own a receiver or a speaker amp, so my choices are pretty much limited to active monitors. I was considering the Audioengine 2, but found out there are no dealers for them in my country.
Recently, the Alesis M1 520 monitors have caught my attention, but the information on these is scarce. I was able to find one review which said they were okay speakers and good value, but I also read opinions saying that they suck.
I would like to hear your opinion on these speakers. Are they good for the money? Any alternatives that you think might be better for around the same price? Thanks.
