Hey, I've read the reviews over at headphonereviews.org, and though the ratings are great, the comments are meh. I was wondering if anyone with experience with these beasts could comment on their + and -'s! Thanks

Do a search on ATH-W5000 and you will find many reviews/impressions. Even use my username as a focus with that headphone in the search engine. I have made at least two detailed and different comparisons myself.

One was the stock vs one with the Fitz mods.

The other was a comparison of the stock W5000 with my Ultrasone Edition 9.

Quick summary is that I really enjoyed them very much and they were my reference can for almost a year. I was using it with the matching AT-HA5000. But for details of how they sounded check on what I said by using the search engine and those hints for the search terms.
