I want a universal pair of headphones. I want a pair of headphones that will sound great no matter what I hook them up to, whether it be high end equipment, or just my cell phone. What is the best pair out there for what I want?

No budget, I don't have any mandatory expenses. I listen to all kinds of music, but mostly rock. I prefer over ear, which most higher end headphones tend to be. But besides that, I'm open to anything.

Ultrasone Edition 8's.....pricey, but very nice and pretty much fits with your requests.
