Hello again.
Can anybody give me their opinion on what speaker to buy?
I listen to:
classical
piano
violin
guitar
and mostly voices (e.g.. singing)
Any good computer speakers for the job?

Didn't you say in your other thread that your A5+ just sound OK? What is your budget? I don't think you'll greatly exceed the SQ of the A5+ unless you spend some extra money over what they cost.

Also, are you intent on powered monitors or passive speakers+amp, or does it matter?

Preferably powered monitors, because I will be using them as computer speakers.

My budget is $500-$1,000, more or less is fine.

A lot of people mentioned the emotiva airmotiv 5 around here.

In your budget range, I would also look into the Dynaudio DBM50 or BM5A MKII powered monitors. For passive speakers, Kef Q300 and an Emotiva mini-X a-100 amplifier.

The ADAM AnX range are very highly regarded for reproduction of acoustic instruments. particularly piano and the human voice.
 
They are also exceptional value for money. A3X ~ $500pr ; A5X ~$800pr.
