I'm having a bit of trouble finding the solution on Google. How do I disable speed dial from appearing every time I open a new tab? I'd like for my home page to open up on each new tab instead.

PS. I'm on a Mac.

.You can go to the keyboard preference in the Preference, but a faster way is to run: C:\Program Files\Opera 10 Beta\ui\standard_keyboard.ini

Then search for:
Quote:

t ctrl= New page, 1

Replace it with:
Quote:

t ctrl= New page, 1 & Go to homepage

BUT, you must press CTRL + T for it to work.

I may also recommend:

Hide the menu: In the same standard_keyboard.ini, search for "Platform Unix, F11 alt" and delete the "Platform Unix, " so it's just F11 alt. Now you can can press F11 + ALT to hide away the menu.

Try the Google's Chrome skin that I editted and place it in:
C:\Documents and Settings\yourusername\Application Data\Opera\Opera 10 Beta\skin

right click on the speed dial's background > configure speed dial > hide speed dial ?

dunno how to have the homepage loaded everytime you open a new tab though.
