i have a pair of K26P's that'll either need a recabling or, hopefully, just needs me to resolder the cable back into the right headphone, so my question is-
does anyone here have any experience/advice for me for when i try to open these up without damaging anything?

this would be my first ever headphone mod/repair, btw.

don't know if you're reading this: I have the K24P, the K412Ps predecessor and I take it they are very similar. All I have to do to open my AKGs is exert some pressure on the side of the plastic halves until they come apart (but carefully, of course). Afterwards you just snap them back together.
Just get back to me if you want to know anything more or my "explanation" is not clear / enough.
