I ordered a HD2 and I plan on doing some opamp rolling. Based on these two threads there were two recommendations: 2x OPA2604 + AD8022 and THS4032 x 3

I was wondering where is the cheapest place to get a SOIC8 - DIP8 for Canada? I know brown dog sells them for 2.39 each, is there anywhere cheaper to get them??

For the 3x THS4032 it was recommended to put a 1.0uf Film capacitor in between pins 4 and 8. Is there a specific brand, tolerance or capacitor electrolyte that is optimal for audio? I noticed that it was a "suppression" type capacitor. Is this just to make sure that there is a constant voltage supply to the chip?

Additionally what is the best soldering method for ICs? Some use solder paste, some dab it on, others use drag soldering. Any recommendations? Thanks.

Cool thanks majkel. I just checked digikey and they list two versions: 5 and 10 microvolts of input offset. Which version should I buy, the one with tighter tolerances costs almost double the price.

Anyone know about which film capacitor I should buy?
