I'm upgrading a Dacmagic 3 I bought on ebay for £25

its way better than I was expecting so I've decided to keep it and spend abit of cash on it. Schottky's and Oscons mostly. However, its got 2 AD712's on the output so I'm going to put a couple of sockets in and try OPA2134, 2604 and op275. These are all pretty cheap, but the OPA2107's are £15 each

I don't want to go overboard on costs, so I just thought I'd ask here to see what peoples experiences were of them and weather they would be worth the money for this application?? Any thoughts gratefully received, cheers

I tried 2107 in A47 a while ago, for a week maybe; very smooth chip, little more detailed than 2132, with good clarity of the instruments. I end up going back to 2132 because it was too flat for my taste. In PIMETA, it fits very nice actually...if you could live up with laid-back sound.
