I know tangent has a nice note about several op-amp on his page. But he didn't conlude 8620 in his test. So can anyone say something about 8620...why is it so popular and how does it sound compare to others?

IMHO the AD8610/20 sounds better to me than the Burr-Brown OPA637, with all headphones. Initially I thought that the Analog Devices sound might not be a good match with Grados, since they're already quite aggressive, but that turned out to be mistaken. PPL says that the AD843 is slightly better than the AD8610/20 when power isn't an issue. I think Tangent agrees with him, but I can't remember for sure.
