check out the tube site FAQ. Tung sol round plate is a great tube and so are the Ken Rad and Sylvania VT-231s. All these provide big improvement over the stock EH tubes

Did you see the add in the amps for sale forum here at head-fi? 6sn7 tubes for sale. Check it out, a good deal on a pr. of sylvania VT231 and a single KenRad Vt231. Thats all you need to really improve the sound of your amp.

Yeah, saw the ad. Todd, the one selling the tubes, is the guy I bought the amp from

. I actually need to hold off on tubes for the time being. My car needs servicing and the EH's sound decent enough for now. But soon, I'll be rolling with the rest.
