http://www.etymotic.com/ephp/epcomp.aspx

it says the er6 is more accurate, have three times the impedance, higher sensitivity, a black color, an angled plug, comes with biflanges instead of triflanges, and costs 10 dollars less msrp

the 6i is more popular around these parts because its supposed to have more and better bass

What is better for sound isolation: Triflanges or Biflanges?

triflanges, but it hurts like hell if your ears are not used to them.

I wouldn't say they hurt. They do feel kinda funny till you get used to them.

Is it possible to find other tips for the ER-6 if I don't like the biflange?

I picked up the ER-6i's.

Much better than my E2c's. They don't fall out of my ears like the E2's, they're more comfortable than my E2's and they isolate just as well, if not better, than my E2's. All around, happy I picked them. Thanks for all the help.

Now I just need to unload these E2's.

Sony EX-51/71 tips work fine.
