axemusic.com is another place. The prices we pay in Canada is a joke.

OIC, you need to plug both monitors in. Having separate amps in each monitor is better than one amp in the master for a lot of good reasons.

Ugh, I think insult is more like it. A quick example is what we have to pay for Grados here. The 60i/80i in the US costs about $80/$100 each. Up here we pay $135/$160 each. Considering the exchange rate is only about 1.05, that's just stupid.

The Canadian pricing is set by Grado. Thats why we buy them used here.

The pricing is NOT set by Grado but the importer.

Canadians get shafted on alot of audio gear, from headphones to receviers and eveything in between. You would think since our dollars are so close that prices would also be similar but not so.

I'm still kicking myself at having bought the SR80s at regular retail price. That was before I discovered head-fi.

not just audio gear, most electronic/hard goods in canada cost a lot more than down south. (e.g. Cars, Appliances, Televisions)

themacgroup sells NuForce gears and other audio gear at a good price.

Personally, if you want to actually save money, wait for used equipment here on the forum or on ebay. 70% of the audio equipment i bought are from this forum and ebay. Saved me a lot of money
