Hey there, I'm just starting out on my first adventure into the headphone DIY world and bought myself a brand new pair of fostex t50rp and after excitedly ripping through the packaging and plopping them on my head I found that the right ear cup was substantially weaker than left, in fact at low volume I could barley hear anything from it at all. So I was wondering if maybe I just got a bad batch of headphones or if that is a common occurrence with these headphones (I suspect because the cable runs through the headband into the other side providing it with less voltage) and if there is possibly a way to solve this issue or should I just return it and ask for some new ones? Thanks O' Bunch!

might be needing to clean the metal part of the stock plug with deoxit or alcohol
