Is it ok to have two separate Amps connected to one DAC, I plan to only use one Amp at a time, though. One Amp connected by RCAs, and the other connected by XLRs. I just dont want to have to unplug amps from the DAC as I try the other Amp.
1. Is it safe for the equipment?
2. Are there any negative affects to sound quality/power doing so?
Always read user manual or contact manufacturer. It's not as straightforward as it seems. For example, Chord warns that connecting both RCA and XLR together may destroy Hugo TT2.

OK with one amp at a time. Usually, the DAC output voltage via XLR is double that via RCA. Be sure that the amp connected via XLR can handle the higher incoming voltage - lest overload distortion sets in at all volume levels.
