Fantastic thread - as a relative "noob" to Head-Fi, I can't throw out an educated suggestion, but I'm following them all with great interest. Will you be at the National meet in San Jose? Seems like about the best place to find out the answer:

PS Audio GCHA. Expensive? yup. But clean and neutral as can be. I like its sound a lot. The best part IMO is its neutrality and transparency.
