I have a Steelseries Siberia V2 Frost Blue headset. I love the headset, however the mic isn't its strong point. It is a bit lower quality and tends to pick up the wind from my fan and my keystrokes. I want something that I can put on my desk that isn't too much money and cancels out the wind form the fan. Also so it wont pick up people coming in and out of my room. Any help?

Some cheap dynamic microphone should do you fine. But honestly, I would just get a Zalman clip mic, or one of Logitech's old desktop mics off amazon. They're cheap and get the job done.

Zalman Zm-Mic1 is what I use and it's great. Cost me 8 bucks on amazon.
(When it was really quiet but after I kajiggered some stuff people can hear my fine with the mic about 2 inches from my chin)
