If you haven't listened yet....
Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra has fantastic and accessible tunes. This one swings straight ahead with one of my favorite Brubeck composition

I discovered a gem this week. Fred Simon is a contemporary jazz keyboardist who started a band called Simon & Brad Group in 1980. The bassist and drummer from the group, Paul Wertico and Steve Rodby eventually went on to join the Pat Metheny Group. Definitely was a very talented band, but unfortunately no one knows about them. Just thought I'd share, first playlist is Fred Simon's debut album from 1988, and the other is also Simon & Brad Group's debut album. Now Fred is probably best known for his work with Windham Hill Records.
I actually asked Fred Simon a few years ago for sheet music of a piano piece. Very nice guy!
