RP1000 has temp control, and configure the sound function...
And stand-by mode, tube biasing watching monitor...

A very beautiful amp indeed. But didn't rudi specifically say that balanced is not something he wants? Something about odd and even harmonics. For some reason I can't find the thread where the comment was made, but it was about a rudistor amp that had balanced inputs but no balanced headphone out. I'm curious about the change of mind towards balanced from his technial point of view.

The only thing stopping me from considering this is the 12-16dB gain. That would be too loud for my taste, and would make pot adjustments difficult. I wonder if Rudi would make an adjustable or low gain version

EDIT: Before we get all excited, didn't Rudi and Sovkiller say that dual mono is as good? Why the change or heart?

Its nice, but cosmetically i'd prefer a MOTH... those things are simply gorgeous.
