So I was swapping between my Pad removed AKG 240s and my SA5000s on my Gilmore Lite, and when I turned music back on the SA5000s I heard a loud POP and the volume was really low. I turned the volume up and all I got was crackling.
My heart sank because I read all about how you have to be careful when swapping cans and I usually am.
I turned the Gilmore off and looked, the power cord had come loose. I plugged it back in firmly and turned it back on with the volume down and slowly turned it up................everything is fine, omg.
Anyone else ever have something like this happen? Soooo glad I didn't fry my amp
