Right now I can get either of these at a very decent price on eBay. Does anyone have any comments on based on actual experience? I am not looking for another option, or DIY advice, just actual thoughts on either of these for use with my Kef M500. Thank you for looking.

I have been looking at those too, and the one by Woo Audio.  I have read that the stands you post are not at the same level of quality as the originals, but can be made better with some tlc and a few coats of lacquer.   The Woo audio stand does not compress the ear pads.

Yes, these are the two main styles of inexpensive wood holders available on eBay. Many vendors but I assume each style probably comes from the same source. I don't expect he finish to be top notch but I was just wondering if anyone had tried either and if there was a reason to go for one over the other. Thanks.
