Wow, extensive review and I agree with your conclusions.

To have a screen that size and not be able to use it for video seems like a major boner on Olympus' part, doesn't it?

Also, for my needs, a player whose controls are so visually-oriented would not be good. Having to light up the backlight and tap around on the touch screen just to change the volume would bug me to no end.

Hopefully this is the start of some really interesting portable devices, though.
