I'm about to order some Westone UM1's.
I'm aware that they come with comply foam tips, but I've heard that Shure's foam "olives" are more comfortable and durable.
Do they really make much of a difference?

In all honesty, I prefer olives only because they dont look as dirty. The Shure's work miracles though. Complys i give them a 9/10 while Shure's take the 10

it really depends on your ears, everyone's are a different shape. You will have to try out various tips to see what fits best. I think a lot of tip manufactures will send out free fit kits if you email them. Oh and by the way, the olives are the only tips that work for me.

I'll just give the comply's a try I think.
They do look "dirtier" though, and are apparently less durable.
