Stopped by the local Best Buy and they had a selection of remastered Rock classis CD's. The one that caught my eye was "The Who - Who's Next". It was a 2 disc set, so it contained a bunch of extra material. It didn't keep my attention long because the price was $27 or $28. They had a number of other remasters for about the same price.

Has anyone here bought any of these, and would like to comment on the quality?

On a side note, they had their Sampler - Volume 3 on the same end cap. Price = free. I didn't leave empty handed.

If you're looking for the best digital representation of "Who's Next" seek out Steve Hoffmans remaster. I found my copy on Amazon of Canada, at an insanely low price. They have a few others of his superb work (Steppenwolf, Buddy Holly, Mama's and the Poppa's) at similar prices. There are some threads to that effect over at stevehoffman.com.
