I tried to find Tyll's state of headroom post, and I couldn't. Do the old threads from the sponsored forum just disappear after the manufacturer stops paying? There has been good discussion in some of these threads, and it seems a shame for it to be lost.

i just did the same search and it indeed looks like the sponsored threads are gone forever and not searchable in archives once they poof.

That really sucks. There was some great stuff from Tyll in the headroom thread, and a bunch of good stuff from many people in past threads.
