Ok, so I was wondering if there was some kind of miracle mic that would attack itself to the wire of your headphones, most likely via alligator clip.

I just got a pair of cans and I'd like to use those when playing, but because of that, I wouldn't be able to use the bluetooth headset(for the PS3) I used to use while gaming online.

I was wondering if there was something I could do to still use a mic online, and still use my headphones.

I was looking for something like that (not USB though) but I couldn't really find anything (in the UK) so now I have this crazy contraption made from a cheap headset mic and a hairclip

Hit the local music instrument shop and find a lavaliere mic, though it wont be USB.

You want a clip on for the cable and not just a desktop USB mic? I think logitech has a inexpensive USB mic.
I originally had another model in mind but it woudl be overkill for your application. -UFO USB Mic..
