Tell me about these 3000s that I hear about on this board. I'm a Sennheiser guy, as I've mentioned in the past, however I do like my low end Sonys for what they are. So tell me about the 3000s. Why would I like them over the high end Sennheisers? Maybe I should think of having more than one pair of cans.

As you all seem to say, welcome to head-fi, sorry about your wallet. Then again, this is all cheap next to speakers so hey. One of my front speakers costs more than my entire headphone setup at this point.

Hmm we can't let that happen. A speaker costing more than headphone setup?
